I have a concern

Something's not right

For parents who are worried about their child's development and do not yet have a diagnosis.

Developmental support clinics

Developmental clinics assess how your child is developing and offer the right therapies under one roof. Here you will find the facilities by province.

In a developmental clinic, paediatricians, psychologists and therapists from physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy work together. They examine your child, make a diagnosis and support your child with therapy. Treatment is usually covered by public health insurance. A referral from your paediatrician is often required.

Good to know: Waiting times are often long. So register your child as early as possible, even at several places. If it needs to be quick, a paediatric neurology clinic at a hospital is usually the faster route.
