Between rehab stays, your child needs regular therapy close to home. Here is how to find physiotherapists, occupational therapists and speech therapists who work with children.
The professional associations' directories
- Occupational therapists: The Ergotherapie Austria search can be filtered by location, insurance contract, target group and home visits.
- Physiotherapists: In the detailed search on physiotherapie.at you choose location and radius, insurance contract and target group, for example infants or children.
- Speech therapists: The professional association logopädieaustria offers its own search. You can also find speech therapists on physiotherapie.at.
Tip: Choose “Kinder” (children) as the target group. That way you only see practices with experience in treating children.
Not every practice is listed
Joint practices offering several therapies under one roof are often missing. So also search Google for “Ergotherapie Kinder” (occupational therapy), “Physiotherapie Kinder” (physiotherapy) or “Logopädie Kinder” (speech therapy) together with your town.
