The Spielhofer family

“We can confirm that it took several stops to get the diagnosis for our son. A centre for early diagnostics would have helped us, too, to start therapy for our son early, especially in the first years of life. There are role models in Scandinavia and Germany; most of it would just need to be established in Austria. In particular, we lack the interdisciplinary approach that we have already experienced in Germany, which would be real added value for children with multiple disabilities like our son. Only with specially tailored intensive therapy were we able to achieve real progress with our son.”
